Getting there:

By Train:

Cambridge is on the main line from both London King's Cross and Liverpool Street stations. Non-stop trains take 45 minutes.


National Rail Cambridge

The train station is a 10 min walk to the OU campus. There is a taxi ranks at the train station.

 

By Bus:

The stop is called St Paul's Road and is very near the OU campus.

The Buses: 1A, 3, and 13, 13A, 13B, 13C

The Bus 1A and 3, go to and from the Train station to the City centre and the OU is in the middle.

 

By Coach:

Drummer Street Bus Station
Cambridge, CB1 1NQ

The coach station is an simple 12 min walk to the OU Campus or Bus 3.

 

By Car:

Traffic can be surprisingly bad for such a small town!

There is no parking available at the OU regional centre.

There are two car parks near by:


Queen Anne Terrace Car Park
Gonville Place, (A503)
Cambridge CB1 1ND
(570 spaces, 21 Blue Badge (disabled parking) bays)

Near the swimming pool on Parker's Piece. This is a 6 min walk to the OU.

Monday to Sunday, 24 hours, Over 6 hours £13.30.


There is an NCP Car Park at the Train Station.
(372 spaces, 7 Disabled bays)

Park & Ride

There are 5 Park & Ride

The Babraham Road Park & Ride bus stop at Emmanuel St (E5) which is a 10 min Walk.

The Trumpington Park & Ride just off the M11 stop at Downing St near John Lewis a 8 min walk to OU. It will also stop at the Botanic Garden 8 min walk.

Parking seems to be £4 a day. (£3 for the bus and £1 for the parking)
